Our Story

Étude de cas is a creative platform born from a desire to illustrate my daily life through a rich blend of visual, tangible, sonic, and spiritual references. I approach it the way a musical artist would : I do everything a musician might do, except instead of making music, I create a wide range of tangible objects.

As a man of a few words, I've always disliked the idea of spoon-feeding the audience by justifying every move I make. From a young age, I was fascinated by artist who expressed themselves through symbolism, building worlds around their work to reflect their lived experiences. As a long-time consumer, I've always found joy in decoding the intentions behind a musical sample, a cinematic reference, or a philosophical nod. That curiosity, nurtured since childhood, is what shaped who I am today.

Having grown up in an environment where everything had to be logical and rational, étude de cas stands in complete opposition to that. It's a celebration of ambiguity, intuition, and emotion. As an artist, I truly believe that the moment a piece of art becomes purely logical, it loses its magic. To me art has nothing to do with reason : it is something you feel first, something instinctive.

I'm fully aware that étude de cas may feel cryptic at times. But for those who pay close attention to the details, each piece will eventually find its place. Little by little, the puzzle will come together and that's when everything will begin to make sense.
